The Wellington Pasifika Business Network’s (WPBN) goal is to help grow Pasifika businesses in Wellington. I am Paul Retimanu, and it is my privilege to welcome you to the Wellington Pasifika Business Network’s website. As the Chair of this vibrant community, I am honored to represent our diverse Pasifika business community in Wellington and beyond.
Our network is built on the foundation of our Pasifika cultures, values, and traditions, and we are committed to supporting and empowering Pasifika businesses and entrepreneurs to thrive. Whether you are just starting out, or have an established business, our network provides a platform for connection, collaboration, and growth.

Our story

How the Wellington Pasifika Business Network started

The Wellington Pasifika Business Network started in 2014 with the passion of a small group identifying a significant gap in the market, particularly the lack of visibility of Pasifika businesses in the region.

The genuine commitment to bringing together the Pasifika business community was premised on the primary goal to encourage innovation, prosperity and growth of small business through quality network events and engagement whilst celebrating our successes and challenges in the world of business.

The Board wish to celebrate the achievements of the Wellington Pasifika Business Network, and to welcome the appointment of its Inaugural Executive Officer, Frieda Crawford, at our Luau on Thursday, 17 November 2022.
