Matcha Samurai brings to you our Organic Roasted Matcha or "Houjicha" as it's called in Japanese. Roasted Matcha has a very unique taste, great for creating drinks, baked goods and confectionery to name a few. It has a lower amount of caffeine than Matcha, so if your find that the caffeine in Matcha is keeping you up at night, switch to this product, it still has all the health benefits that Matcha has!
The organically grown Japanese green tea leaves are roasted after harvest, and then stone milled into powder.
All of our teas are organic and stone ground. Matcha Samurai is grown in Uji Japan, the region most famous for it's matcha tea.
