Kidzplay Netball open league
Based in Albany on Auckland’s North Shore, Kidzplay Netball is an open netball league for Year 1 – 6 Primary School players.
We offer an environment for children to take part in a team sport, to have the opportunity to have fun while learning ball skills, teamwork, fair play and the pure enjoyment of playing a sport.

Important Rules to Remember:
- NO earrings. Earrings must be removed. Taped earrings will not be allowed.
- Players’ nails must be short and smooth and long hair must be tied back.
- All players must rotate positions each week. This is to ensure that all players have the opportunity to learn all the positions.
- Positions may be changed at half time.
- No coaches or parents are allowed on the court during games, please stay on the side line.
- Teams need to be on court and ready to start play when the bell commences play.
- One person from each team on the scorecard at all times.
- Supporters and coaches must respect the umpires’ decisions.
- NO dogs are allowed on the school grounds please.

Worried about the Weather?
We do not cancel any netball games due to wet weather. Please refer to our “Frequently asked Questions“ page for the Kidzplay Netball weather policy or follow us on Facebook for updates.
Parking
Please be careful where you choose to park. Auckland Transport (AT) can and do enforce parking restrictions on the roads around the venue. In particular we recommend not parking on cycle lanes or other restricted areas.
Please note: There is NO parking on the cycle lanes along Rosedale Road 7 days a week.

Important dates for 2019
2019 Winter League
The 2019 Winter League will run from 11 May to 29 June (excluding 1 June – Queen’s Birthday) and from 27 July to 7 September (14 weeks). All games are played on Saturdays at Pinehurst School.

The 2019 Spring League will run from 19 October to 30 November (excluding 26 October – Labour Weekend). All games are played on Saturdays and are non-competitive. Further information can be viewed here.
