In our first year in business, we reached 10 active clients. These business owners trusted us to develop and design their website and manage their online presence. We also launched our first few successful SEO campaigns which helped to unleash their business potential by getting them ahead of the competition and generating new sales leads for them.
After gaining 20 new active clients yearly in our second year of business, we decided to expand and hire a new employee. After adding to the UP team we were better equipped to deliver high-quality service to our clients. This resulted in an additional 30 new clients that year.
After seeing such fantastic growth in our first two years, we decided to explore new opportunities abroad. We closed our first foreign client in Australia. An electric hardware business who had big goals for their business. We partnered up with them to grow their business and generate more revenue after 2008.
We hit a new milestone by achieving 50 active ongoing clients. 2010 saw huge advancements in technology and communication. By adopting a learning mentality we were able to stay ahead of these changes and continue growing.
After a successful 2010, we required more space so that we could eventually add new team members. This would help grow the business so that we could manage the demand from our existing clients.
We also joined BNI and business networking groups to generate more clients on a more personal level.
With Jen on the team, we managed to reach 100 on-going clients who have invested in marketing with UP. Jen proved to be a powerful force in the team and is still part of the team today.
After another four years of growth, we expand to onboard Wynand (our in house developer) and Georgia (our advertising expert). This helped boost our productivity and turn around time.
Onboarding two new specialists gave UP the ability to offer faster service delivery in a market that is changing more rapidly than ever.
We saw consistent growth in the years before COVID. In 2020 we were challenged to deliver more flexible solutions to our client. By staying proactive through the pandemic, we managed to keep business flowing for ourselves and our clients.
We managed to maintain growth by expanding our service offerings to assist the community with much-needed marketing support during those trying time. In the process, we minimised our overheads by moving to a remote, cloud-based work environment. This offered our team more flexibility and freedom while making UP “COVID-Proof”
